Today's post is about CHERRY BLOSSOM TREES!
I'm a fan. They are in bloom around my campus and I've just recently began to realize their beauty.
I just recently went to D.C for my spring break, and learned about the amazing cherry blossom festival they have!

That's the site.
If you ever get a chance to go to D.C, I suggest going during this spring part of the year. This is when the flowers are just starting to bloom, and the air smells so sweet! Tons and Tons of photo opportunities too!
The reason there are so many cherry blossoms in D.C. is because "over 3,000 cherry blossoms were given to the U.S. by Japan to symbolize the friendship between the two countries before WWII. After WWII ended, another 3,800 of the trees were shipped to the U.S. to renew the friendship between the countries."-http://www.nationalcherryblossom.com/
Cherry Blossoms are hearty trees and like the sun!
Next time you are gift giving, a Cherry Blossom tree might be a great choice!
